I am deeply proud and honored to announce the renewal of my UNESCO Chair on Visual Literacy for a second term, extending through December 2030.
This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme and the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO. I am also sincerely grateful to the Open University of Cyprus (OUC), our partner UNESCO Chairs, colleagues, and institutional partners around the world for their trust, collaboration, and shared commitment throughout this journey.
As we begin this new chapter, I am excited about the opportunities ahead to expand and strengthen our global network. Our mission remains clear: to further develop and advance innovative Visual Literacy tools and methodology and continue sharing the Futures Literacy approach that empowers people to think critically, imagine alternative futures, and navigate an increasingly complex world.
I look forward to continuing this journey together with old and new partners, expanding and strengthening our global network. Here’s to the next four years of learning, innovation, and meaningful impact!
